THIS ISN’T ABOUT BECOMING MORE.

IT’S ABOUT COMING BACK TO YOURSELF

BARRE & BE WAS CREATED AS A SPACE FOR WOMEN TO RECONNECT WITH THEIR BODIES, THEIR BREATHE, AND THEMSELVES.

Push through exhaustion. Ignore with the body is saying. Measure movement by what it changes on the outside. Treat rest like something we have to earn. Move through our lives without actually being present for them.

Somewhere along the way, we learned to override ourselves.

THE WOMAN BEHIND THE METHOD

We don’t need another place teaching women to disconnect from themselves in the name of getting lean, strong, performing or becoming better.

We need practices that help us become soft enough to feel, strong enough to honor ourselves, grounded enough to trust ourselves, and alive enough to fully embody who we were created to be.

For much of my life, movement was connected to performance. As a former Division 1 athlete, I knew how to push my body, discipline it and ask more from it. What I had to learn was how to listen to it.

Barre & Be grew from that journey, from performing to listening, from overriding to noticing, and from seeing movement only as something we do to understanding it as a way we come home to ourselves.
